The Northwest Chapter is seeking nominations for the following board
positions that will be coming open in October:
· Secretary/Treasurer
· North Board Representative
· West Board Representative
· East Board Representative
In addition, in preparation for AAAE’s call for nominations in the Spring of 2011 to fill
national positions, the Chapter is also seeking nominations for the following:
· NW Chapter Representative to the National Board
· At Large Position on the AAAE Board

There are people and companies who make significant contributions to the
aviation industry and now this your chance to show them how much they are appreciated. The
Northwest Chapter gives out three awards annually, the Corporate Award of Excellence, the
Aviation Excellence Award, and the Airport Executive of the Year. All three awards along
with the President’s Award of Distinction will be presented at the Chapter’s Annual
Conference in Anchorage this September.
Please take a moment to consider nominating people and companies that you work with for any
of the above awards – a few minutes of your time to fill out the attached nominating form is
not too much to ask when it comes to recognizing those that go the extra mile.

Deadline for award nomination is August 20th.

The Airport Facilities Management Conference is less than a month away
(August 4-6 in Boise, ID) and time is running out to get registered! This conference is
preceded by an Advanced ASOS School (August 3-4) and both conferences will be well worth
your while to attend and are a great way of supporting the Northwest Chapter. Visit

- Registration is now open for the Chapter’s Annual Conference (September
1-3 in Anchorage, AK) and full conference information can be found
here. Excellent conference sessions, a full
exhibit hall and Anchorage as the host city make this a conference that you
won’t want to miss. The host hotel is the Hilton Anchorage at a rate of $185
(good through the Labor Day Weekend) and our room block is filling quickly
so make your reservations now and mention you're with the Northwest Chapter
Conference.
